Girly Bits Seriously Sassy

Now this is one stunning nail polish! Today we have Seriously Sassy from Girly Bits - our favorite Canadian nail polish brand!

This is a seriously deep, multidimensional nail polish. There are microglitters and iridescent flakies immersed within a rich purple jelly polish that covers nicely in 2 coats. Our photos are intentional blurry so as to give you the effect of this polish in all its glory. I just LOVE this polish however, it did chip off after 2 days which normally never happens to me. Otherwise, totally flawless!

Picture Polish - Demeter

Direct sunlight
I meant to post this polish the first day of Autumn as Demeter is the goddess of the harvest (I did not know this prior to trying this polish) but time passed me by and it went un-posted. But I am determined to post this before it is winter (eeek!) and so here I am doing just that!

Under direct sunlight

It's a deep, chocolate brown with holographic shards. The shards end up appearing just like silver glitter most of the time, unless the light hits it just right. I didn't mind because it's a beautiful colour. It made me want chocolate all the time though :)

I don't usually go for browns. I'm not sure what it is about them that I don't exactly like but maybe this polish has changed that?!

In shade
This polish applied well and lasted for a whole week with little chipping or tip wear. I was very impressed and didn't really have an urge to change it.

In sunlight
Aww the Autumn sun is so beautiful! Hope you're having a nice Autumn season.

You can purchase Picture polish here or here or here.

Lynnderella Bubble Juice over Zoya Sansa

As promised, here is my complete manicure using Zoya Sansa and Lynnderella Bubble Juice (LE). I knew these two polishes would work beautifully together and I really loved wearing this mani for a few days.

Lynnderella Bubble Juice was a gift from a lovely lady I met online through a Facebook nail polish group. I am so happy to own this beauty of a polish. It's shimmery and shifty, glittery and holographic all at once! My favorite!

Zoya Sansa

Zoya Sansa is a new polish for Fall. It's a lovely eggplant purple with gold shimmer throughout. It applied well in 2 coats though I might have actually needed 3 looking at the pictures here! I used it as undies for a really special glitter polish which I will show you soon on the blog. This is a gorgeous autumnal shade that should work well for almost everyone.

Scofflaw Little Edie in the Grey Gardens + China Glaze Petal to the Metal

Don't worry we haven't forgotten about this here blog, we've just being very busy lately. This is a look from a few months back. As you can probably tell from the colour selection, these pictures are from the Springtime. Eek! I've fallen behind in uploading for sure!

I chose to pick up the pink of the hexes in the Scofflaw polish and to do that I used China Glaze Petal to the Metal from the Spring 2014 Collection The Peonies and Park Ave. It was the perfect pairing I must say. To add a little more interest I applied the three dots down the centre of those pink nails using a dotting tool and Cult Nails You're my Dandy Lion

I love Scofflaw Polishes. I love glitter in a creme base. This is a particularly interesting Scofflaw polish. It's a really nice grey with pink, yellow, and gold hex glitters along with some pale purple squares and a GORGEOUS green shimmer. Unfortunately, it's not apparent in these photos because it is also very light in person but it makes the polish.

Scofflaw polishes have great staying power. China Glaz can be iffy but (if I can recall correctly :s) Petal to the Metal was pretty good. All polishes were topped with Seche Vite top coat.

Little Edie in the Grey Gardenscan be purchased here along with other Scofflaw Nail Varnishes . Cult Nails is sold here. You can find China Glaze almost anywhere in store or online but Nail Polish Canada is one place to start.
