Chaos & Crocodiles You're My One in Five Billion

Chaos & Crocodiles You're My One in Five Billion

Earlier this year Chaos & Crocodiles and Emily de Molly collaborated to release a four piece collection inspired by The X-Files. As someone with a love-hate relationship with The X-Files, I needed these polishes. They also happen to be gorgeous.

You're My One in Five Billion

Chaos & Crocodiles "You're My One in Five Billion" is a black jelly with colour-shifting flakies and iridescent flakies. I was a bit worried when I applied the first coat because it was very sheer and patchy but the second coat made everything perfect! I finished off with top coat. While it was very smooth on its own, you definitely want the top coat to bring out the glossiness and flakies.

Holo Microglitter Rainbow Skittle Nails!

I have way too much nail polish. I will admit that with shame (and maybe a little pride). So, in order to get through my massive pile of untrieds I wore a rainbow skittle manicure with all my holo microglitter polishes (AKA liner holos with microglitter/flakies).

Thumb: (Not pictured) Fire by Gliten & Glow (an exclusive from The Holo Hookup). I'm holding that bottle.
Index: Light the Way by Indigo Bananas (I wore it as a full manicure)
Middle: I'm Not Saying It's Aliens by Emily de Molly
Ring: Human Oddity by Emily de Molly
Pinkie: Candied Violets by Sweet Heart Polish

I would definitely wear each one of these polish on their own! I absolutely love I'm Not Saying It's Aliens which is rare for a green! It has the most amazing flakies which are so beautiful in all lighting, especially indirect.

Zoya Caitlin + Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Might Not Recover

Zoya Caitlin Nail Polish

I thought it was time to wear my namesake polish from Zoya... Caitlin! It's a dusty purple creme with a pretty nice formula. But I love glitter so I decided to top it off with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Might Not Recover which is a purple glitter topper. I really loved this combination of purples - it was sophisticated yet fun and not too busy. I wore 2 coats of Zoya Caitlin and one coat of BEGL which applied very smoothly. I finished off with top coat of course as it would be slightly gritty otherwise because of the glitter.
