Ever After Dear, Sweet Little Foot

A few years ago Ever After created a nail polish by the name of Little Foot for the Nail Whisperer’s April My Favorite Things subscription box (which is now defunct). Everyone wanted it! It was limited to the box and the nail world was pining for a way to get it for themselves. So Rachel and Miranda listened and brought back a sister polish... Ever After Dear, Sweet Little Foot.

Blush Lacquers Lakeside Manor Polish Pickup

It must be the time of year because I've been gravitating toward greys quite a bit lately. Blush Lacquers is a relatively new brand but you've already seen them a few times on the blog because, well, Victoria makes wonderful polishes!

Supernatural Lacquer Fields of Emerald City

Wishing all my nail fiends good luck on this Black Friday. There are too many sales, too many LEs, too many promo codes... I can't keep up despite my best efforts. It's for the best.

We're off to see the Wizard, the most wonderful Wizard of all!!! I loved The Wizard of Oz when I was younger but haven't watched the movie in years. I'm not much of a movie person so that stands to reason. I do love this nail polish from Supernatural Lacquer that also happened to be part of the August 2017 Old Hollywood Polish Pickup

Nothing pleases me more than a beautiful shimmer. My nail pal Natalie recommended Colors by Llarowe this nail polish to me and it really is something special. It also happens to be on sale for $5 from the CbL website so...

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil Polish Pickup

Provided for review

Do you love baked goods? Do you love having healthy nails and soft hands? Do you love skulls? If you answered yes to at least one of those questions then you will want to keep reading!

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil

For the December edition of the Polish Pickup, indie makers have come together to create nail products inspired by Holidays Around the World. Cuter Cuticles chose Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, as her inspiration for her contribution! I couldn't be more excited because I have always thought Día de Muertos to be a beautiful celebration. Sammy totally nailed the inspiration with the bottle and the scent of the cuticle oil...

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil

Sammy has the following to say about her Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil: "My inspiration for Pan de Muerto is a traditional sweet bread that is eaten on Day of the Dead! There are many variations but it usually includes spices like cinnamon and lots of sugar. So that's what this cuticle oil smells like, with a bit of a kick! The bottle is inspired, of course, by traditional sugar skulls and each bottle has been hand-painted and baked by myself or Mr. Sammy."

Scent Description: "Sweet and spicy with the undertone of fresh baked goods. It's enough to make you want to eat your fingers!" (But, please don't! Because then you won't be able to paint your nails without fingers). This cuticle oil comes in a 15mL or 0.5 oz bottle. Contains nut oils!

Important note: there will be cap of about 70 bottles of Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto so be ready at 11AM EST on Friday, December 1 because I imagine these will go quickly. It will be available for $8 USD in the Polish Pickup shop and once it sells out, it's gone forever.

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto Cuticle Oil

Cuter Cuticles Pan de Muerto smells exactly as I would have expected and it's absolutely delicious - slightly spicy from the cinnamon and subtly sweet. You definitely get the sense of freshly baked goods, too. When I first applied it, my mom walked into the kitchen (where I was sitting) and thought I had been baking because it smells so much like a sweet and delicious baked bread. The scent does linger for a long time on your nails which I appreciate (though I always feel awkward when someone sees me sniffing my fingers). The bottle is totally adorable and a great piece for displaying in your mani cave. The glass bottle is sturdy and the eyedropper applicator is easy to use, depositing as much or as little as you need. The cuticle oil itself is incredibly moisturizing and really does improve the overall health of your nails and cuticles with consistent use. I use Cuter Cuticles oils 4-6 times a day and I barely have any breakage, peeling, hang nails and rarely have to push back my cuticles. They're so healthy and well-nourished. I can't say enough good things about Cuter Cuticles and this scent in particular.

The first picture shows my nails right after application and the second shows my nails a few minutes after rubbing the cuticle oil into my nails and cuticles.

Fresh Paint Blank Space Nail Lacquer

Time for a palette cleanser! Only Riley will think this is funny but when we recently went to the USA I became obsessed with Five Below. Every time we drove past a store, I had to go in and look. I passed up some pretty cool and trendy items and I'm mad at myself. But, I did buy a few nail polishes like this one...

Cirque Colors Winter Bloom Nail Lacquer

In the nail world the words Limited Edition and Exclusive get thrown around a lot  but every once in a while a polish that you'd never thought would make a comeback does...

Cirque Colors Winter Bloom Nail Lacquer

Cirque Colors Winter Bloom was an LE from the Holiday 2016 collection and I recently borrowed it from my nail pal @nataliepostma. But, coincidentally enough, it's back as part of the Holiday 2017 collection from Cirque Colors along with Coronation which SADLY sold out even though it was a pre-order.

Cirque Colors Winter Bloom Nail Lacquer

Cirque Colors Winter Bloom is described as a mint green with sparkling holographic flakes but methinks there's also a pinky shimmer in here because I see something pinky or maybe even just minty green shimmer in certain lighting. It's absolutely beautiful and I suggest you buy it if you like mint greens or super sparkly flake polishes. I am wearing three thin coats plus top coat. It applies like a dream and removes super easily. It makes me want more Cirque Colors!

Londontown USA Lakur Nail Polish Review

My favorite kind of snow is the kind you find in a snow globe. Where we live, it snows during Winter and I hate it but I am trying to make peace with it. Londontown USA Lakur in Glasgow Glamour is exceptionally gorgeous and reminds me of snow, specifically snow globe snow.

Shleee Polish Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo Nail Lacquer

Shleee! I think you will recall many a Shleee Polish post on this blog a few years back. The archives are here for your perusal. I just perused myself and the last time I wore a Shleee Polish was November 2014! Wow. Time flies. So much has changed in my life since I last wore a Shleee.

Colors by Llarowe Marilyn The Legend Polish Pickup Old Hollywood

For some reason, I love wearing pink in November. Hence why I am starting off the month with a pink polish. It feels appropriate for me which probably makes no sense to you. But, different strokes for different folks, right? Colors by Llarowe participated in the Polish Pickup for the first time this August and her contribution was the prettiest pink inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
